Monty Sharma
Music runs in his genes, Monty Sharma is the grandson of the legendary Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma & the nephew of the music maestro Pyarelal ( of Laxmikant-Pyarelal fame). He started learning music at the tender age of five from his grandfather who not only trained him in Western & Indian Classical music, but also taught him the fine art of fusing the two together.
Monty didn't have it all on a golden platter, he has had his own share of hardships too. Before coming to the foreground with 'Saawariya' , he worked as a keyboard player in Shekar Kapoor's 'Mr. India' & also for Ismail Darbar. He arranged the title track of Nimbooda in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' on a special request.
After that, he moved on to do the background scores for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas' & 'Black'. Only after this stage did he hit the jackpot & compose for "Saawariya", which won him the Filmfare R. D. Burman Award for New Music Talent in 2007.

Dear Judges do not kill budding talent. My son does'nt see the show because you judges are unfair, biased and partial. In sports you have a photo finish. It was a disgusting show this week. There is no charm or interest left. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is good atleast has good talent left. These judges with king size egos should watch how SP Balasubramaniam judges a similar Tamil show. Despite his stature being several times that of these VOI judges, he conducts himself with humility and grace. the judges seem to be COMPLETELY BIASED. They have a negative & may be a sadistic type of feeling towards Ritisha. Inspite of her very good & melodius singing the Judges put her last Ritishas performance was appreciated by Mr Shan who is one of the top play back singer in Bollywood.By Bringing Mr Vipul back on to the competition twice it is very obvious that judjes have decided to award the VOI to him. If such was the partiality I request the producer Mr Gajendra singh & Star plus to award the trophy to Vishal & stop this competition.

Bringing Vipul, Mallar & Zakir back from the "dead" was probably the stupidest decision made by the judges.The bias and discrimination is so blatant, it makes us sick. The correct choice should have been ranking by way of cumulative votes polled by contestants over previous episodes multiplied by percentage of marks (culuative) given by judges till previous week. Most biased program I have seen. The judges are a black mark on democratic India. They overrule the voting and bring back their favourites as and when they want. They have someone in mind. I thought Star voice reality show now the show is for Sukhbinder singh show. Because I feel he dictated, directed and dominated this show and tried to show his power influence to others. The other two judges are absolutely like a doll in this show no voice. I am really surprised bipul was eliminated from this show and how the judges influenced and show muscle power to come back him. i think ryan is a complte waste of space . infact becoz all the judges r so goo goo gaga over him despite his lack of sur and tal, we r losing fantastic singer like mallar and shraddha das. i am sure u will agree that some sort of pelvic movement that ryan is so good at , is definetly not the right place for it to be displayed. i think the judges should be more careful in passing judgement.

Monty, in the last episode u gave 10 points to Saptaparna bcoz u wanted to give her a chance. The next contestant was Rithisha to whom u gave 7 points. MY question is why didnt u give her a chance. i watched saturday's episode and i was disapointed with inconsistency in judging and scoring system of the points. it seems to be that certain judges have certain contentants in mind. my view is that the points should be based on various criteria against which each judges should be marking and then an average taken.
secondly the judges should not be allowed on the stage while the contestants are performing on the stage.
this specially applies to sukvinder.
mr. sukvinder how can you mark while you are dancing on the stage????

I wonder that rather than analyzing competitors skill & decencies and giving proper ranking, he try to give him training at competition which should not be part of it.
